Later on, he continued sailing aboard sailboats of different nationalities the Patagonian coasts like the Beagle Channel and the Le Maire Strait, among others.
At present, he sails the Deseado´s River and its surroundings, sharing with his wife, Chantal, his love for nature. For him, it is extremely important that every visitor takes the best of the memories of this small Patagonia sample, his place, and that of his people… He will show visitors every special corner, recalling the old times and narrating a list of funny and incredible anecdotes…

In several opportunities he has sailed the Patagonian coasts and in 1989, he circumnavigated Cape Horn in kayak. However, his favorite sport is angling which he redeems with great easiness and enthusiasm. Therefore, he knows all the special places to practice it enjoying close contact with nature.

   Enviroment Conservation

he staff of "Turismo Aventura Los Vikingos" is strongly committed to the care and conservation of nature in all its manifestations. We respect international rules of animal watching and responsible approaching to the different animal species.
"Turismo Aventura Los Vikingos" supports investigation projects about commerson´s dolphins carried along by Chantal and her collaborators, as well as others such as shark marine biology projects and Puerto Deseado´s Ria biodiversity studies.

n each trip, each of our boats/minibus carries a marine biologist or an educated naturalist. They'll answer all your questions and will provide you with wildlife and natural history interpretation. This will allow one-to-one conversations about the habits and habitat of all the magnificent creatures you'll encounter along the trip.

e are the only company in Deseado offering this level of service on a vessel/minibus carrying 5-12 passengers plus a single operator who doubles as a guide. This extra crew member provides a safety guarantee we refuse to operate without. The naturalist can attend to your needs while the vessel operator's/driver full attention is given to running the boat or the minibus.
